Foodie Friday: Mason Jar Salads

I have been using Mason Jar Salads for a while now, and honestly these make life so much easier. My clients are always asking for nutritional advice and how to plan their meals for the week.  I try to build up great habits and structure with my clients and let’s be honest, without any real structure we are less likely to succeed, winging it doesn’t work out much of the time.  So deciding to spend an hour or less organising yourself for the week ahead will mean that you are ready for all eventualities.  That’s where these salads really come into the picture – you can make 3-4 of these at the beginning of the week, and store them in the fridge. Plus the variations you can make are endless.

Then all you need to do is just dump the contents into a bowl and you will have the PERFECT salad!

Place the ingredients in the following order:
  • Homemade Salad Dressing
  • Apples
  • Cranberries
  • Heirloom Tomatoes
  • Baby Kale
  • Goats Cheese
  • Toasted Almonds!

  1. Love the ingredients in this salad’ I’ve gotta try the mason jar trick. So simple!! These salads always remind me of those McDonald’s shaker salads from back in the day. They were onto something!! Definitely making this asap!!
