Wild Workout Wednesday: Shoulder Mobility Drill + New Challenge

How many people do you know with shoulder issues? As I get older the number of people I see with shoulder injuries is increasing more and more.  It is likely to be due to years of bad posture, being slumped over our desks at work  or possibly spending too much time on iPhones!

It’s imperative,  even when the shoulder joint is tight or sore, that we keep moving it.  Moving through the natural motion of the shoulder’s ball and socket joint is going to keep blood flowing in the area,  keep the cartilage strong and eventually increase the range of motion in that area.  As a rule, I say people should lift objects above their head every single day to keep the joint moving well.

There are a number of mobility drills you can try to improve shoulder health, but here is one of my favourite ways to access full mobility in the joint. You should try this movement a minimum of 10 times on each side, more if you can handle it!  Watch the vidoe, listen to my cute accent, then try it and let me know what you think!

    1. I have so many other mobility drills that totally help open up the shoulders, get him to try this for starters.
